A new series of fortnightly Get Creative at the Coast workshops in collaboration with Emmaus. The series will be starting with a creative writing workshop from Inside Out Community's Writer In Residence, Petra McQueen. Petra will be showing you how you can effectively capture the feel and appearance of the coast in written word.
This week Mai will be with us to explore reading and writing rhyming poetry. You will start by reading and discussing a few examples of rhyming poetry to get a feel for the genre. Then you will collect rhyming words which you can use to create your own poems either individually or in pairs.
