Inside Out Community Receive the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service
After having to keep this a secret for several weeks (we’ve all been fit to burst here at Inside Out Community HQ), it is now with overwhelming pride and joy that we can share with you all; Inside Out Community volunteers have been chosen to receive the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service for 2021. This is the highest honour a volunteer can be given. It is the equivalent to an MBE and it is awarded for life. So it goes without saying that this is an incredible honour for the community as a whole.
But wait, there’s more!
In response to our volunteers’ work during the Covid 19 pandemic, they will also be receiving a ‘special recognition’ award for their hard work during this time to help our workshops to continue under such exceptional circumstances.
We couldn’t be prouder of our volunteer team
This award is an absolute testament to the hard work and commitment of the Inside Out Community volunteers and we could not be prouder of them. Our Chairperson Matthew Morris could not have put it better:
“This is an amazing award and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible hard work, support and commitment of our wonderful volunteers.”
We can now reveal the real reason for our meet up on Saturday; why we asked you to all cheer ‘Thank you’ at the top of your voices and give a big thumbs up…it was for this very special announcement which has gone live on all our social media channels this morning.
Be sure to check out our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts for posts throughout today and the coming week for all the latest news.
All that remains for us to say now is a huge THANK YOU! once again to all of our volunteers for their unwavering support, we couldn’t be happier that your efforts have been recognised in this way. Congratulations!
You can email info@insideoutcommunity.com if you would like to know more about the award and what it means for the Community as a whole.
